Job summary

Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a Director of Real Estate to lead the real estate function across 350 veterinary hospital locations. You will shape strategy, oversee capital projects, site selection, facilities management, and lease administration, while building a high-impact team in a high-growth setting.

The role focuses on acquisitions and de novo site development, requiring strategic vision and strong leadership. Hybrid role in Denver with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive leadership in real estate and/or facilities in multi-site environments.
• Direct experience with site selection proposals and broker collaboration.
• Experience managing lease portfolios, renewals, and landlord/tenant matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the Real Estate function for 350 hospital locations.
• Oversee $15-30M annual real estate growth projects and vendor selection.
• Lead de novo openings and build an internal real estate capability from ground up.
• Manage capital budgets, scoping, underwriting, and project execution.
• Direct a team of real estate and project management professionals.
