Job summary

AIC is seeking a Head of Business Development to elevate BD across the portfolio, leading strategy, systems, and standards in collaboration with Operating Partners and portfolio management to grow revenue with the DOD, primes, and commercial customers.

You will shape how portfolio companies pursue opportunities, manage pipelines, and coordinate cross-portfolio bids, while mentoring BD teams and building scalable playbooks in a fast-moving industrial software parent company.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of business development, capture, or sales leadership experience, including substantial experience with the Department of Defense.
• Proven experience building and winning commercial or industrial business in manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, robotics, or a related supply chain.
• Track record of building pipeline and closing multi-million-dollar deals; familiar with capture processes and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a portfolio-wide BD strategy across all AIC companies.
• Build and manage relationships with DOD program offices, primes, and other government customers.
• Identify and pursue new contract opportunities across the portfolio.
• Lead or supervise BD pipelines, capture plans, and proposal processes at portfolio level.
• Foster cross-portfolio opportunities and broker teaming arrangements.
