Job summary
OB Hospitalist Group is seeking a Director for the PMO to build and lead the enterprise PMO, establishing operating models, governance, and a cohort of project managers. You will drive portfolio prioritization, vendor engagement, and cross-functional delivery to realize business value.
You will partner with senior leaders to shape strategy, implement repeatable playbooks, and monitor performance with executive dashboards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
- Active PMP certification.
- 8+ years in portfolio, program, or PMO leadership with 4+ years leading Project Managers.
- Experience delivering end-to-end SaaS implementations and complex programs.
- Proven ability to drive governance, budget, and executive decisions.
Responsibilities
- Define PMO operating model, standards, governance, staffing, and maturity roadmap.
- Recruit and develop Project Managers with hands-on support for complex projects.
- Select and implement portfolio management tech, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Establish project intake, baselines, budgets, and ownership before work begins.
- Maintain enterprise portfolio roadmap and prioritization for senior leadership.
- Coordinate cross-project dependencies and capacity planning.
- Lead governance forums and Steering Committee cycles.
