Job summary

Commence is seeking a Director of PMO to lead a matrixed delivery organization across federal and commercial programs. You will establish the PMO as a shared service, maintain delivery methodology, and drive governance, staffing, and performance across the portfolio.

You will partner with executives and Program Directors to ensure timely health inputs, quality reviews, and continuous improvement, while scaling the PMO to support rapid growth in healthcare data and technology services for

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program and project management experience.
• Deep working knowledge of federal contract execution (FFP, T&M, cost-type).
• Experience standing up or maturing PMO infrastructure in growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish and run the PMO as a shared service with standards, templates, artifacts, tooling, and cadences.
• Coordinate delivery health inputs and reporting with Project Controls and executives.
• Recruit, develop, and staff the PMO bench across programs.
• Ensure PMs sustain workflows, invoicing, and contract documentation.
• Transition PMO scope over six months in collaboration with outgoing lead.
