Job summary

FlightSafety International seeks a Director of Pilot Training and Standards (DOTS) to maintain and improve training programs and delivery at the Learning Center. You will oversee courseware, onboarding, qualification, and regulatory compliance across locations worldwide.

The role requires extensive experience in training supervision, program development, and coordination with regulatory bodies to ensure high-quality flight training and device certification.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Ten years of related experience.
  • 3–4 years of management experience.
  • Strong leadership and regulatory compliance skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the development of standardized courseware documentation.
  • New-Hire Instructor onboarding, training, mentoring, and qualification.
  • Coordinate and standardize Pilot Training Programs by aircraft type and related materials.
  • Supervise and manage Customer training activities.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance observations of Pilot Instructors.
  • Interview prospective teammates and provide staffing input.
