Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Manager, Flight Training Devices (FTD) to lead the FTD department at one or more Centers. You will plan, organize, and direct all maintenance, qualification events, and staff scheduling to ensure safe, compliant simulator operations.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, cost control, safety training, and coordinating ITAR/EAR compliance, while guiding upgrades and equipment modernization with the Simulator Ops leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university preferred; or AA/AS from a college; or completion of a civilian/military school program or certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage department staffing levels with approval from the Center Manager.
