Job summary

Scribd, Inc. seeks a Lead Product Manager for Recommendations to own the experience serving 200 million monthly visitors across 300 million documents. You will shape vision, define metrics, and run experiments with Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Design, and Machine Learning teams.

The role requires driving long‑term strategy, delivering impact, and balancing short‑term wins with a scalable platform designed for growth and AI-enabled discovery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience in a high-traffic consumer environment.
• Experience shipping ML-driven features that move engagement, conversion or revenue.
• Familiarity with retrieval, ranking, embeddings and feature stores.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term recommendations strategy and multi-year roadmap across Scribd surfaces.
• Partner with ML Engineering & Applied Research to productionize ranking and retrieval work.
• Define metrics and track engagement, CTR, content completion, and subscription impact.
• Ship incremental relevance improvements aligned with Scribd's 3-year AI strategy.
• Synthesize experiment results and user feedback to inform prioritization and design.
• Communicate requirements, timelines, and impact clearly to cross-functional teams and executives.
