Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Director of People to lead the Home Office people strategy, partnering with SLT, SVP and VPs to drive organizational effectiveness and talent initiatives across functions. The role emphasizes building diverse teams, coaching leaders, and ensuring compliant, high-impact HR programs.

The individual will influence hiring decisions, develop leadership training, monitor performance, and maintain associate relations while safeguarding confidential information and legal compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years HR Business Partner experience in large, matrixed organizations.
• Experience with labor laws and associate relations.

Responsibilities

• Align and execute the people strategy for the assigned function with senior leaders.
• Influence hiring, org structure and talent decisions across functions.
• Ensure compliance with trainings, performance reviews, and talent programs.
• Develop leadership training programs with Talent Management.
• Provide performance coaching and create talent action plans.
• Support onboarding for new leaders.
• Minimize legal risk and ensure confidentiality.
