Job summary

Deepgram is seeking a senior HR leader to scale our People function for a remote-first global team. You will run the People Ops Management and HRBP teams, shape the people roadmap, and act as senior escalation point for complex employee relations.

You'll partner with ELT and business leaders to implement performance management, talent development, compliance, and policy programs, while leveraging AI tools to raise our People function’s impact.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years in People/HR, with direct experience managing HRBPs or People partners.
• Broad functional depth across performance, compensation, compliance, employee experience, and talent development.
• Strong operator and team developer who executes through others.

Responsibilities

• Team leadership - directly managing the People Ops Manager and HRBP team.
• Execution of the people roadmap - scope, sequence, assign, and ship initiatives.
• HRBP function quality - coaching, review, and true business partnership.
• People Ops function oversight - ensure HRIS, lifecycle, compliance, benefits run smoothly.
• Performance management - execution of cycles, calibration support, coaching infrastructure.
• Employee experience - onboarding through offboarding aligned to Deepgram culture.
• Talent development - develop programs, managers, career frameworks.
• Compliance and policy - stay ahead of employment law, risk, due diligence for M&A.
• Senior escalation point - handle complex employee relations with judgment.
• Cross-functional presence - partner to ELT and business leaders.
• AI-native execution - use AI tools and drive adoption across team.
