Job summary

Deepgram is seeking an early-career engineer to partner with the Head of People to design and build AI-powered workflows that transform People Ops. You will create systems atop HRIS and other tools, turning repetitive tasks into intelligent processes and enabling employees to complete workflows with minimal People-team intervention.

You will collaborate with People, Engineering and IT, ensure secure, scalable solutions, and measure impact on time saved and employee experience as AI-driven tools

Responsibilities

• Partner with People & Talent Team to apply AI and automation in People Ops.
• Build scalable, up-to-date AI-first onboarding experience.
• Turn manual People workflows into automated AI systems.
• Build AI agents and workflows to answer questions, gather information, initiate processes, and complete actions.
• Integrate AI with HRIS, Slack, recruiting, performance, compensation, and other internal systems.
• Build internal tools to make People processes easier for employees, managers and the People team.
• Prototype quickly, test with real users, learn, and iterate.
• Establish human-in-the-loop controls, escalation paths, and safeguards.
• Partner with Engineering and IT on architecture, security, and productionizing prototypes.
• Measure whether what you build saves time and improves the employee experience.
