Job summary

Deepgram is hiring a strategic Head of People to lead the People Ops and HRBP teams in a remote-first, globally distributed environment. You will manage performance cycles, talent development, and policy compliance while partnering with the ELT to shape the company’s people strategy.

You will drive execution, build scalable programs, and champion AI-enabled practices across the people function as Deepgram scales, with a focus on developing leaders and aligning people initiatives with business

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in People/HR leadership roles
• Experience managing HRBPs or People partners
• Strong operator and team development capability
• Strategic thinker who executes through others

Responsibilities

• Lead the People function, including HRBPs and People Ops
• Own the people roadmap and execution of the plan
• Oversee performance management cycles and calibration
• Enhance employee experience across onboarding to offboarding
• Drive talent development and leadership programs
• Ensure compliance and policy alignment across all people practices
• Act as senior escalation point for complex employee relations
• Collaborate with ELT to represent People in cross-functional initiatives
