Job summary

VIP Medical Group, a premier medical organization with Vein Treatment Clinic and Pain Treatment Specialists brands, seeks a Director of Patient Financial Services & Clearance. You will lead Prior Authorization, Insurance & Benefits Verification, and Patient Financial Services, shaping an operation that is accurate, efficient, scalable, and employee-friendly.

You will build dashboards, manage multi-functional teams, and partner with Technology to automate workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive healthcare operations, revenue cycle, or related experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience with managers or multi-functional teams.
• Significant experience with prior authorization and financial clearance.
• Strong understanding of insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
• Experience with patient financial services and billing support.
• Proven ability to improve operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop managers, supervisors, and operational teams.
• Improve prior authorization turnaround times and reduce aging.
• Build stronger insurance and benefits verification processes.
• Improve LOMN and documentation workflows.
• Create a better patient financial experience.
• Build dashboards and performance-management systems.
• Partner with Technology and Data teams to automate workflows.
• Develop staffing and capacity models and anticipate risks.
