Job summary

Parts Town is seeking a Director of Outbound Distribution to guide the outbound fulfillment operations as we expand our center footprint. You will lead the establishment of systems, automation, people, and processes to meet growth while modeling our core values and safety priorities.

You will oversee order processing including Picking, Packing, Assembly, and Loading, plus Freight Shipping, and develop daily operating plans to ensure quality, productivity, and safety goals are met.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a high-volume Distribution Center environment.
• Minimum 4 years in a manager or higher role with a related degree.
• Lead by example and stay connected to day-to-day operations.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Proficient with MS Excel and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead outbound fulfillment team and processes for high-volume, same-day shipping.
• Plan and monitor daily performance to ensure orders ship with high quality.
• Ensure OSHA standards and DOT regulations compliance.
• Provide cross-training and development for managers, supervisors, and hourly staff.
• Lead process improvements and automation initiatives in distribution.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Sales on daily execution and special projects.
