Job summary

Wwshemi is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead day-to-day operations at an early-stage AI company serving manufacturers. You will partner with founders to optimize customer delivery and scale supplier and freight workflows.

In this role, you will recruit and manage the operations team, design scalable processes, and drive metrics to improve service quality. A strong background in supply chain and startup environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Senior operations leader with 6–10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience in supply chain, logistics or manufacturing operations.
• Experience at an early-stage startup or small team, building processes from ground up.
• Strong quantitative, systems and process-design skills.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding, order execution, supplier and carrier coordination, and issue resolution.
• Build processes, metrics, and playbooks to scale a lean team.
• Partner with engineering to identify operational workflows for AI automation.
• Manage supplier and freight operations, vendor relationships, and service quality.
• Hire and lead the operations team as the company grows.
