Job summary

Recruitment Room seeks a Head of Operations to build operational infrastructure and drive execution across business operations, talent acquisition, customer engagement, and fundraising. Reporting to the founder, the role combines operational ownership with strategic execution in a fast-growing startup environment.

The ideal candidate is a high-agency generalist with strong judgment, effective communication, and the ability to deliver results independently in a loosely structured setting.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in startup operations, business operations, or a related field.
• Experience in high-performance environments, ideally within a scaling Series A-C startup.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, incl. ability to produce polished business materials.
• Commercial judgment and the ability to understand technical products, customer needs, and business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee core operational functions including payroll, accounting, insurance, compliance, contracts, and office administration.
• Build talent pipelines and establish efficient recruiting processes.
• Develop investor-focused materials and support fundraising activities.
• Establish internal workflows and scalable processes to improve execution and accountability.
• Partner with founder on high-priority initiatives and drive projects from conception to completion.
