Job summary

Wwshemi is seeking a growth-focused specialist to lead demand-side growth on our AI-powered talent marketplace. You will own the client journey from initial outreach through onboarding, coordinating strategy and hands-on execution.

This role offers the potential to expand into broader business leadership over time. In this role, you will build trusted relationships with startup founders and talent leaders, craft go-to-market approaches, and personally drive outbound campaigns.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a client-facing, commercial, consulting, operations, or growth role.
• Experience in fast-paced environments (startup/consulting/investment).
• Firsthand outbound client acquisition or demand generation experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort working across strategy and execution (go-to-market design).
• Recent in-person work experience and ability to work on-site in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Own company acquisition from prospecting through onboarding and activation.
• Build relationships with founders, executives, and talent leaders.
• Translate hiring needs into marketplace searches.
• Generate demand via outbound outreach, referrals, partnerships, events, and content.
• Execute cold calls and tailored email/LinkedIn campaigns.
• Test messaging and channels and scale successful experiments.
• Collaborate with talent and product teams to improve matching and liquidity.
• Track the demand funnel and improve conversion at each stage.
