Job summary

Wwshemi in San Francisco is seeking a hands-on Recruiting & Community Lead to shape the company narrative, build relationships with AI engineers, researchers, and technical communities, and scale hiring through robust onboarding and operations.

You will own end-to-end recruiting, evolve onboarding, and drive events and content to attract top talent while aligning with GTM objectives. Visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of relevant experience owning end-to-end recruiting at an early-stage startup.
• Experience improving recruiting operations and onboarding processes.
• Experience engaging technical communities, hosting events, and creating marketing content.
• Ability to explain technical products involving frontier AI, RL, and training data.
• Strong networks in AI research, engineering, or startup communities with a writing portfolio.
• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced startup and collaborating with GTM teams.

Responsibilities

• Explain the company's vision and technical work through engaging storytelling.
• Find and build relationships with AI engineers, researchers, and technical communities.
• Define culture and values, screen candidates, and develop onboarding.
• Own end-to-end recruiting and improve systems, tools, and automated workflows.
• Plan community events, represent the company at industry events, and create content.
• Collaborate with go-to-market teams to establish pathways to high-priority leads.
