Job summary

The School District of Philadelphia seeks a strategic leader to drive onboarding and the employee experience from offer to successful integration. You will develop, implement, and continually improve onboarding, orientation, and engagement initiatives to strengthen culture and retention.

You will partner with Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Employee Relations and school leaders to deliver a seamless, data-driven employee journey and elevate service excellence across the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field.
• Seven years of full-time, paid, professional, progressively responsible HR/OD or related leadership experience, in a large district, agency or corporation, with at least three in supervisory roles.
• Master’s degree preferred; or Master’s degree with five years of experience in HR/OD or related leadership.
• All work experience related to the position must be included on the resume.

Responsibilities

• Lead district-wide onboarding and employee experience strategies.
• Design differentiated onboarding pathways and coordinate new employee orientation.
• Ensure compliance with employment requirements and track time-to-productivity.
• Develop service standards and dashboards to monitor engagement and retention.
• Collaborate with HR, Recruitment, and leaders to deliver seamless employee experiences.
