Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Director of Operations to drive store profitability by overseeing all support tasks and leading store management. You will ensure resources for the selling process, maximize the customer experience, and supervise accounting and HR actions.

With a 4-year degree and 5+ years in retail leadership, you will manage staffing, budgets, and cross-functional partnerships to maintain operational excellence in a luxury retail environment.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a retail environment with increasing responsibility.
• Experience with expense management and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and lead store management and associates to support selling.
• Manage P&L and controllable expenses to maximize profitability.
• Handle store accounting tasks: bill paying, invoices, and corporate credit card reconciliation.
• Ensure merchandise receipts are processed and floor-ready on receipt day.
• Oversee staffing levels and payroll expense through scheduling systems.
• Collaborate with facilities for maintenance, repairs and capital projects.
• Build budgets and monitor operating expenses and revenue.
