Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or operations.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams.
• Extensive experience with Linux internals, operating systems, and systems administration.
• Understanding of computer architecture, server hardware, and OS-hardware interaction.
• Track record of improving reliability, performance, security, and maintainability of production systems at scale.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Linux platform engineers and technical leads.
• Set technical direction and priorities balancing platform evolution, reliability, security, and ops needs.
• Drive projects from requirements through design, implementation, validation, and deployment.
• Partner with hardware, product, operations, and engineering teams to deliver reliable Compute platforms.
• Improve observability, automation, and operational practices to reduce incidents and speed resolutions.
• Lead investigations and resolution of complex, service-impacting issues and support on-call operations.
