Job summary

Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County seeks a Director of Training, Learning and Development in Nashville, TN. You will oversee the Training Department, guide strategy, and lead initiatives to grow employee capability and engagement.

A strong background in LMS, budgeting and leadership development is required. You will design curricula, coordinate apprenticeship programs, and work with senior leadership to align learning with organizational goals while maintaining cost

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree required; master's preferred.
• Minimum five to ten years of training leadership experience.
• Proven ability to design and oversee training programs and budgets.
• Experience with LMS and adult education is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Training Department activities and staff.
• Design and develop training programs to maximize effectiveness.
• Lead the Leadership Academy and administer program budget and agenda.
• Coordinate apprenticeship programs and grant opportunities.
• Monitor performance, analyze data, and report outcomes.
