KB Home in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Land Acquisition leader responsible for developing and executing the division's land strategy, overseeing staffing, training and retention, and coordinating with sellers, developers, and brokers to secure suitable lots.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business/Real Estate, 5+ years in land acquisition and contract negotiations, leadership experience, and strong communication. Travel and on-site collaboration with divisions are expected.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years proven experience in land acquisition, contract negotiation and relationship building.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Homebuilding/real estate industry experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and data-driven decision making.

Responsabilidades

• Identify opportunities for lots/land, LOIs, negotiations, proforma analyses, and purchase agreements.
• Manage the preparation, analysis, and timely delivery of land packages to the Land Committee.
• Proactively search for land opportunities using multiple methods.
• Establish relationships with sellers (developers, land owners, brokers, builders, banks, attorneys, engineers, planners).
• Lead staffing, training and retention for the division’s land acquisition team.
• Design, implement & manage action plans to achieve land acquisition goals.
• Collaborate with other divisions to support growth of sales & operations.
• Oversee field activities and on-site land assessment.
