Job summary

KB Home is seeking a Land Acquisition Analyst to research, analyze, and manage land data to optimize asset value and identify acquisition opportunities aligned with market strategy. You will collaborate across departments to evaluate proformas, budgets, and buyer preferences while maintaining post-acquisition financial tracking.

This role offers on-site work at the KB Home Division Office with competitive base pay and benefits, including health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business/Finance/Real Estate.
• 1–3 years land acquisition or entitlement/forward planning experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pre-acquisition investment briefs and supporting materials.
• Coordinate with development team to set budgets and schedules for proformas.
• Collaborate to assess construction costs and buyer preferences.
• Analyze due diligence information for potential investments.
• Extract and interpret data from MLS, company databases, Metrostudy, Census data, and other sources.
• Develop detailed Land Packages with supporting data for Corporate Land Committee submissions.
• Maintain financial proformas post-acquisition to track performance and improvements.
• Support annual Market Strategy report and other ad hoc projects.
