Job summary

KB Home is seeking a Manager of Land Acquisition in Roseville, CA to identify and secure strategic land parcels and drive division growth. You will evaluate deals, coordinate with senior leaders, and manage cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with market data and ROI targets.

The role requires leading negotiations, developing feasibility packages, and guiding kick-off meetings with multiple departments to support successful land deals. On-site work and travel are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of land acquisition, contract negotiation, and relationship-building experience.
• Experience in home building, construction, or real estate is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of market and industry trends.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with focus on team motivation and results.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with developers, brokers, municipalities, attorneys, engineers, planners, and competitors to secure land opportunities.
• Identify potential land through mapping, prospecting, networking, and targeted mailings.
• Create proformas for land deals that align with company thresholds.
• Negotiate land purchase agreements with input from senior leaders.
• Monitor land acquisition and development activity in your designated area.
• Compile, analyze, and present data for Land Committee feasibility packages.
• Lead kickoff and rollout meetings for new land deals.
