Job summary

KB Home is seeking a Senior Land Acquisition Leader to drive strategy and operations for our land assets. You will oversee the end-to-end sourcing, analysis, and negotiation of land opportunities across markets, coordinating with developers, brokers, lenders, and internal teams to align with business plans.

The role requires leadership, market insight, and a data-driven approach to decision making, with an emphasis on collaboration, process improvement, and long-term growth for the division.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven experience in land acquisition, contract negotiation and relationship building.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Home building or related construction/real estate industry preferred.
• Strong verbal & written communication, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for lots/land, LOIs, negotiations, proforma analysis, and purchase agreements.
• Manage preparation and timely delivery of land packages to Land Committee.
• Proactively search for land opportunities using multiple methods.
• Build relationships with sellers, developers, owners, brokers, banks and related parties.
• Lead division staff in developing effective land acquisition strategies and action plans.
