Job summary

Parts Town is seeking an experienced internal communications leader to shape and execute our company-wide strategy. You’ll translate priorities into clear, relevant communications for teams across the business, acting as a strategic partner to leaders and cross‑functional groups.

A key focus will be evolving our Teams and SharePoint channels to improve access, reduce noise, and ensure impactful messages reach all audiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in internal communications, marketing communications, corporate communications, or related field.
• Experience shaping internal communications strategy with measurable results.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint as strategic channels.
• Strong visual storytelling and ability to create on-brand internal materials. Canva is a plus.
• Understand how to build an effective channel mix for multiple audiences, including distributed frontline/workforce.
• Exceptional writer and editor who can condense complex information clearly and concisely.
• Proactive self-starter able to work through ambiguity and manage multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own internal communications strategy, planning, content development, channel management, measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Advise leaders and cross-functional teams on messaging, audience, timing, and channels.
• Lead MS Teams and SharePoint strategy to improve navigability and reduce noise.
• Create audience-specific communications for office, remote, and fulfillment-center teams.
• Write and edit announcements, newsletters, leadership communications, and intranet content.
• Own editorial calendar and intake process, prioritizing requests by business impact.
