Job summary

Parts Town is seeking an experienced Internal Communications leader to shape and execute our strategy, translating priorities into clear, engaging communications for teams nationwide. You’ll partner with leaders to drive a thoughtful channel mix and ensure messages reach the right audiences.

You will own day-to-day implementation, write and edit across channels, and use data to continuously improve content and impact. Hybrid work options and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in internal communications, marketing communications, corporate communications, or a related field.
• Experience shaping internal communications strategy and delivering measurable results.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint as strategic channels.
• Strong visual storytelling and ability to create on-brand internal materials; Canva is a plus.
• Ability to build effective channel mix and reach audiences.
• Experience communicating with multiple team member audiences; bonus for frontline workforce.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills; concise, relevant messaging.
• Self-starter with business judgment; able to work with ambiguity and move initiatives.
• Able to shape big picture while executing details.
• Able to challenge requests and recommend changes when beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project-management skills; able to influence across locations.
• Use data, feedback to evaluate and improve communications.
• Interested in AI and emerging workplace tech; help team adopt tools.
• Willing to travel a few times a year.
• Bonus: Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, business, marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal communications strategy and day-to-day implementation.
• Advise leaders and cross-functional teams on messages, audiences, and channels.
• Develop audience-specific communication plans for office, remote, and Fulfillment Center teams.
• Shape the internal comms for Microsoft Teams and SharePoint intranet.
• Write, edit, publish, and measure internal communications.
• Translate complex business information into actionable messages.
• Manage the editorial calendar and intake processes.
• Identify gaps and drive channel enhancements and tool adoption.
• Gather feedback and analyze performance to improve content.
