Job summary

Genuine Parts Company, based in Atlanta, seeks a Senior Manager of Communications to lead internal and People (HR) communications. You will craft employee-centered messaging, support culture, and drive change initiatives from inception through sustainment.

You will partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure clear, measurable communications aligned with business priorities and transformation goals across internal channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, PR, marketing, or related field.
• 7+ years of internal communications, writing, editing, or related roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with employee-centered messaging.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong project management, organizational and stakeholder skills.
• Experience in organizational change communications.
• Knowledge of internal platforms, digital media, and social trends.
• Creative, detail-oriented, with speed and quality balance.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes strategic communications plans aligned with business priorities.
• Leads change communications for organizational initiatives from initiation to sustainment.
• Partners with HR and leaders to assess stakeholders and risks for changes.
• Provides strategic counsel to leaders on complex employee communications.
• Primary writer and content creator for internal communications and intranet.
• Maintains editorial calendar and coordinates messaging with teams.
• Supports employer brand amplification through social and external channels.
• Defines KPIs and tracks metrics to improve effectiveness.
