Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic Head of Human Resources for a leading hospitality group with upscale properties in Randburg, Gauteng. This senior role develops and executes HR strategies aligned with business goals, fosters a positive work environment, and ensures compliance with labor laws.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of HR experience, at least 5 in senior leadership, a Master’s degree, and professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR).

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Human Resources with 5+ in a senior leadership role (HR Manager, Director, or Head of HR).
• Experience developing and implementing HR strategies in large/complex organizations, preferably hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compensation/benefits, talent management, and organizational development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with HRIS systems and HR analytics.
• Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• HR professional certification (SHRM-SCP/PHR) highly desirable.

This senior leadership role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and ensuring compliance with all labor laws. Key Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of employment law, compensation and benefits, talent management, and organizational development.
