Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Houston seeks a Lead HR governance, compliance, and data integrity professional to ensure reliable, auditable people operations aligned with regulatory requirements. You will own policy development, SOPs, and HRIS governance, while driving data quality and dashboards across systems.

The role leads HR compliance, supports CARF accreditation, and partners with HRBP and Compliance teams to address risk and associate relations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred; commensurate experience acceptable.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with compliance in HR.
• Minimum 1 year leading a team of HR generalists/analysts.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the associate handbook; ensure acknowledgement on hire and after updates.
• Set cadence for handbook and policy updates and ensure timely execution.
• Finalize, maintain, and track HR policies, SOPs, and related documents.
• Partner with all departments to ensure HR compliance with laws and GWH policies.
• Build and support people data dashboards and HR data reporting across systems.
• Oversee governance of HRIS including data structures, access, and workflows.
