The role requires strong supervisory skills, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to manage schedules, trainings, and vendor relationships while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience required.
• Must be proficient with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Long hours sometimes required.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all Housekeeping personnel according to Highgate Hotel SOP's.
• Establish and maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program and detailed position checklists.
• Maintain and control all housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Balance and clear room status nightly; compare reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare employee schedules according to forecast and payroll budgets.
• Manage vendor contracts (e.g., dry cleaners, window washers).
• Inspect rooms daily and VIP rooms prior to arrival.
• Ensure guest privacy and security per Highgate procedures.
• Attend hotel required meetings and trainings and participate in MOD coverage.
