Job summary

ConnextCare seeks an experienced Director of Operations to provide executive oversight of health center activities and operational performance. The role collaborates with the President/CEO, leadership team and Board to drive performance, quality improvement and long-term sustainability.

The position focuses on strategic initiatives, workforce planning, and efficient resource use, aiming to enhance patient care, operational efficiency and organizational growth across communities served.

Qualifications

• Graduate education in administration, public health, or related discipline; MBA, MHA/MHP, MPA, MPH or similar advanced degree preferred.
• Five years of equivalent administrative experience in a health care setting highly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Creative and strategic approach to organizational growth and operational improvement.
• General knowledge of finance, fundraising, grant writing, personnel management and public relations.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, ethics, discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple departments.
• Foster collaboration among leadership, providers and staff to improve performance and patient outcomes.
• Support workforce planning, staffing decisions and resource allocation.
• Develop strategic initiatives to improve quality of care and revenue opportunities.
• Analyze budgets and financial data to identify opportunities for efficiency and savings.
• Lead initiatives aligned with the organization's mission, vision and values.
• Oversee capital projects and related regulatory processes (e.g., CON).
• Provide training and support for system implementations and staff efficiency.
• Ensure safe and accessible facilities for patients, staff and visitors.
• Engage with community partners and lead grant program oversight.
