Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a Director of Learning and Development to design, deliver, and oversee training for our franchise network. You will lead engaging classrooms, webinars, and workshops, shaping curriculum across operations, marketing, and technology to drive franchise performance.

The role requires strong presentation skills, strategic thinking, and hands-on instructional experience with Office tools, Zoom, and LMS platforms; travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in developing and delivering training programs.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills with ability to command a room.
• Experience collaborating across Operations, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Technology.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead comprehensive training programs for franchisees, including pre- and post-training sessions.
• Attend and lead new franchisee training in person up to 5 days per month and coordinate webinars.
• Develop and update training materials reflecting industry and technology changes.
• Assess training effectiveness using metrics and feedback to optimize outcomes.
• Lead content creation for cross-functional training modules and national conference content.
