Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Director, Food Packaging to drive go-to-market strategy, lead cross-functional teams, and expand the food packaging portfolio.

You will translate market needs into sales plays, build territory plans, and guide proposals, pricing, and executions with executive-level stakeholders. This role requires 7+ years in food packaging, CRM proficiency (Salesforce), and up to 40% travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in food and/or beverage packaging.
• Experience creating go-to-market and business development strategies with field sales teams.
• Knowledge of food safety/quality systems (SQF, HACCP) and translating requirements into packaging solutions.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute go-to-market strategy for food packaging (materials, equipment, services).
• Partner with sales reps to build territory/account plans and close opportunities.
• Lead/assist customer discovery, solution design, and proposal development.
• Maintain CRM, forecast accuracy, and revenue/gross margin attainment.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships and support joint selling.
