Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp. is seeking a Director of Food Packaging to lead the go-to-market for food packaging, collaborate with marketing, operations, and suppliers, and drive pipeline and revenue growth.

You will shape proposals, pricing strategies, and executive-level presentations while guiding cross-functional pursuit teams from discovery to close. The role requires 7+ years in food/beverage packaging, strong CRM/forecasting skills, and a track record of profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in food/beverage packaging with growth responsibilities.
• Proven ability to design and execute go-to-market and growth strategies.
• Experience with food safety/quality systems (SQF, HACCP) and packaging solutions.
• Strong CRM and forecasting discipline; ability to manage complex deals.
• Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute go-to-market strategy for food packaging and services.
• Partner with sales to build territory and account plans.
• Lead new business development and strategic account growth.
• Maintain pipeline rigor, forecasting, and revenue targets.
• Translate packaging knowledge into compelling messaging and solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to fulfill strategic programs.
• Develop proposals, pricing guidance, and negotiation support.
• Build strategic supplier relationships to expand offerings.
• Lead pursuit teams and ensure smooth handoffs through implementation.
• Deliver sales enablement and joint customer calls to improve win rates.
• Track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
