Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp. seeks a Director of Food Packaging to translate market trends and customer needs into go-to-market plays, enablement, and pipeline execution.

You will collaborate with marketing, operations, and supplier partners to strengthen the food packaging portfolio and improve win rates. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop proposals, manage pricing discipline, and drive revenue and margin growth while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering, Food Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute a go-to-market and business development strategy, partnering with field sales teams to drive pipeline, win rates, and profitable growth.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the go-to-market strategy for food packaging (materials, equipment, and services).
• Partner with sales reps to build territory/account plans and identify opportunities.
• Lead business development from discovery through proposals and executive presentations.
• Maintain pipeline, CRM, and forecast accuracy to drive revenue and margin attainment.
• Translate knowledge of packaging applications into compelling messaging and solutions.
• Coordinate resources across quality, operations, and suppliers to meet requirements.
• Lead cross-functional pursuit teams to scope, price, and win programs.
• Develop proposals and commercial strategies; support negotiations to close.
• Monitor profitability and drive improvement actions with leadership.
• Foster strategic supplier partnerships to expand the portfolio.
• Oversee onboarding/implementation for strategic wins and expansion.
• Track pipeline, bookings, revenue, gross margin, win rate, and initiatives.
