Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp. is seeking a Director, Food Packaging who will translate market trends into go-to-market plays and drive pipeline execution. You will collaborate with marketing, operations, and supplier partners to strengthen the food packaging portfolio and deliver a consistent customer experience.

The role requires 7+ years in food/beverage packaging, strong analytics, and experience in pricing, service levels, and negotiations. Travel up to 40% domestically is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering, Food Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in food/beverage packaging.
• Experience creating go-to-market and business development strategies.
• Working knowledge of food safety/quality systems (SQF, HACCP, GFSI).
• Experience with operations/plant teams and suppliers to implement packaging programs.
• Strong analytical, financial, and presentation skills; able to build business cases.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the go-to-market strategy for food and beverage packaging, including target segments and growth priorities.
• Partner with sales reps to build territory/account plans and close opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional pursuit teams to scope, price, and win strategic packaging programs.
