Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred with minimum 3 years in building maintenance or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Schedule repairs and preventive maintenance for machines, tools and equipment.
• Provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electricity, gas, or air by maintaining utility systems.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and suggest improvements for equipment.
• Review plans with engineers; requisition tools, equipment and supplies as needed.
• Prepare department budget and monitor expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and applicable laws.
• Participate in Safety Committee and oversee safety programs.
