Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services in Kentucky seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to direct, supervise, and coordinate the maintenance team, ensuring the facility is well maintained, safe, and compliant with applicable safety, fire, and building codes.

You will schedule repairs, manage utilities and budgets, develop preventive maintenance programs, review plans with engineers, and lead safety initiatives while guiding staff and ensuring reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical/trade field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building maintenance.
• Knowledge of building codes, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems; OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage maintenance staff to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained facilities.
• Schedule repairs and preventive maintenance for machines, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain utility systems to provide heat, power, gas, or air as required.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and suggest improvements.
• Review product plans with engineers and requisition tools and supplies.
• Prepare and monitor the department budget.
• Ensure adherence to facility policies, professional standards, and safety laws.
• Oversee safety and prevention programs and participate in Safety Committee.
• Manage TELS.
• Participate in departmental budget planning and report monthly to Administrator.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
