Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Data Management Discipline Leader to guide national data governance, validation, and analytics across ESG programs. You will establish scalable workflows, standards, and training to elevate data integrity and defensible decision-making.

The role emphasizes EQuIS leadership, cross‑disciplinary collaboration, and the delivery of dashboards and reporting that support project delivery and regulatory compliance. Domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with environmental data management, data validation, and QA/QC.
• Demonstrated leadership across projects and business units.

Responsibilities

• Provide national leadership for environmental data management across ESG programs.
• Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, SOPs, templates, and guidance documents.
• Lead data validation workflows, QA/QC processes, and use of EQuIS modules.
• Coordinate with analytics, GIS, and IT teams to integrate validated data into dashboards and reporting.
• Support project startup with data management requirements in scopes, budgets, and schedules.
