Job summary

Gorgias, a leader in Conversational Commerce, seeks a Head of Technical Solutions to own the technical strategy for enterprise merchants. You will lead both pre-sales and post-sales engineering teams, ensuring what we sell aligns with delivery capabilities and turning forward deployed engineering into scalable services.

You will own the P&L for professional services, including pricing, margins, and standard deployment offers, while collaborating with Product, Sales and Finance to drive revenue

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solutions engineering or related field.
• 5+ years leading customer-facing technical teams.
• Proven pre-sales leadership with enterprise deals.
• Owned services P&L or a large part of it.
• Able to write and review code in Python/JS/TS.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire and coach a distributed team of pre-sales Solutions Engineers and Forward Deployed Engineers; set high standards for quality and speed.
• Own the technical win on Enterprise and Named deals; partner with Sales on discovery and demos.
• Define standard deployment offers and scale AI agent deployments.
• Run the professional services business: bookings, revenue, cost, margins; set pricing strategies.
• Productize custom work into reusable templates and templates for future deployments.
