Job summary

Hut 8 Corp. is seeking a Partner to serve as our senior security leader, owning strategy, governance, and risk across IT, mining operations, data centers, cloud, and AI/compute environments.

This builder-leader will translate a vision into a practical roadmap for a rapidly growing, publicly traded company. The Partner will establish the security program from the ground up, drive control frameworks, manage material incidents, and build in-house capabilities across the Security Operations,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience including security leadership roles.
• Experience transforming security programs in complex, fast-growing or publicly traded organizations; SOX experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Hut 8’s enterprise cybersecurity strategy, target operating model, multi-year roadmap, and security architecture.
• Establish security priorities, decision rights, risk tolerances, investment requirements, and success measures.
• Serve as senior cybersecurity advisor to executive leadership and the board, reporting on risks, incidents, and remediation progress.
• Establish and govern the enterprise security control framework; align to NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOX ITGC, PCI.
