Hut 8 Corp. seeks a Cybersecurity Partner to serve as senior security leader and owner for strategy, architecture, governance, and risk across IT, mining operations, data centers, cloud, and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and leading enterprise security programs.
• Proven ability to set enterprise security strategy with board-level reporting.
• Deep knowledge of governance, risk and compliance across standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Hut 8's enterprise cybersecurity strategy, target operating model, and security architecture.
• Establish priorities, decision rights, risk tolerances, and success metrics for the organization.
• Serve as the senior cybersecurity advisor to executives and the board with risk reporting.
• Govern the enterprise security control framework aligned to NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI, and SOX ITGC.
• Own the security governance, risk, and compliance program including audits and third-party assessments.
• Build the defense-in-depth across IAM, network, endpoints, cloud, data, and OT environments.
• Lead the Security Operations capability including threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Recruit, mentor and grow the internal security team with clear ownership.
