Job summary

Keyrock, a leading digital asset market maker, seeks a Head of Engineering / Engineering Lead with expert systematic options trading skills to guide our Options Engineering team.

You will drive improvements across trading infrastructure, own our Rust-native platform, and collaborate with traders, quants, risk, product and infrastructure to deliver reliable, scalable systems across time zones with remote work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systematic trading or low-latency trading environments.
• Strong hands-on Rust, C++, or C programming experience.
• Willingness to deepen Rust proficiency if needed.
• Deep knowledge of automated quoting, execution, pricing and risk controls.
• Experience with low-latency trading systems in options/derivatives.
• Production PostgreSQL experience; distributed systems and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Options Engineering team of about 7 engineers.
• Own and evolve a Rust-native systematic options trading platform.
• Drive continuous improvement across trading infrastructure and controls.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, risk, product, and infra teams.
• Balance technical leadership with delivery ownership and reliability.
