Job summary

Keyrock is seeking a Head of Engineering / Engineering Lead with deep experience in systematic options trading to lead our Options Engineering team and shape the evolution of our trading platform.

You will drive continuous improvement across automated quoting, execution, risk controls, and production reliability while partnering with trading, quant, risk, and infrastructure stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systematic trading, options market-making, or low-latency systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rust, C++, or C.
• Willingness to become deeply proficient in Rust if not yet.
• Strong understanding of algorithmic options trading, including quoting and risk controls.
• Experience with low-latency trading systems in options/derivatives.
• Production-grade SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with functional testing and validation practices.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and service boundaries.
• Experience with crypto exchange connectivity and FPGA tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an Options Engineering team of around 7 engineers.
• Own and evolve a Rust-native systematic options trading platform.
• Provide strong technical direction across trading infrastructure, system design, and reliability.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, risk, product, and infrastructure teams.
• Balance leadership with delivery ownership and operational discipline.
