Job summary

Keyrock is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the Options Engineering team and drive continuous improvement of the automated quoting, execution, risk controls, and production reliability in a Rust‑native trading platform.

The role requires deep expertise in systematic options trading, low‑latency systems, and the ability to collaborate with traders, quants, product, risk, and infrastructure teams across time zones. Remote work with European and US hubs is supported.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in systematic trading, options market‑making or low‑latency trading systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Rust, C++, or C.
• Willingness to become deeply proficient in Rust, if not already.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an Options Engineering team of around 7 engineers.
• Provide strong technical direction across trading infrastructure, system design, performance, reliability, and risk controls.
• Own and evolve an existing Rust‑native systematic options trading platform.
• Work with traders, quants, product, risk, and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Balance technical leadership with people leadership, delivery ownership, and operational discipline.
