Job summary

Keyrock is seeking a Head of Engineering for its Options team to lead the engineering effort around a Rust‑native systematic options trading platform. You will drive architecture, engineering strategy, and delivery across quoting, execution, pricing, risk controls, and reliability.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise in systematic options trading, with a focus on latency, performance, and risk management. Remote‑friendly with global collaboration and trading system ownership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in systematic trading, options market‑making or low‑latency trading systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Rust, C++, or C.
• Willingness to become deeply proficient in Rust.
• Strong understanding of algorithmic options trading, including automated quoting, execution, pricing, risk controls, and market data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an Options Engineering team of around 7 engineers.
• Provide technical direction across trading infrastructure and system design.
• Own and evolve an existing Rust‑native options trading platform.
• Ensure production reliability and risk controls across the system.
