Job summary

Skydio is a leading US drone company seeking a Solutions Engineering leader to run the Emerging Industries team and support high-leverage sales channels. You will manage quota-bearing Solutions Engineers, scope and execute proofs of concept, and define success criteria for new use cases.

This remote role requires travel up to 50% to support customer engagements, field validation, partner activities, and company events. You will report to the Director, Solutions Engineering – Commercial.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 certificate or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to support customer engagements and events.
• Experience running structured proofs of concept with defined success criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Emerging Industries Solutions Engineering team and related staff.
• Design and qualify POCs and pilots for multiple industries.
• Collaborate with GTM, Marketing and Sales to shape segment definitions and plays.
• Represent customer needs by developing PRD output and scalable technical assets.
