Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business admin or related field.
• 7–10 years in distribution, dock operations, warehousing or transportation (healthcare preferred).
• 7 years of people leadership with dock/logistics expertise.
• Expert knowledge of dock operations and healthcare logistics for regulated products.
• Proven success leading multi-site teams with standardized processes.
• Advanced ability to define KPIs, analyze data, and drive improvements.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/DOT safety and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with ERP/WMS and dock scheduling tools; translate needs into system changes.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with carriers, suppliers, and clinical teams.

Aufgaben

• Directs health system dock operations for inbound receiving and outbound shipping, including scheduling and carrier coordination.
• Leads dock leadership and frontline teams; defines staffing, training, performance expectations and succession plans.
• Defines and monitors dock KPIs (on-time arrivals, dwell time, productivity, damage) and drives corrective actions.
• Ensures OSHA/DOT compliance and audit readiness; implements corrective actions.
• Standardizes dock SOPs for receiving accuracy, documentation, and temperature-sensitive handling.
• Partners with stakeholders to mitigate risk and plan contingency for disruptions.
• Collaborates with procurement and AP to resolve receiving/invoice discrepancies.
• Leads continuous improvement and technology initiatives (dock tools, scanning, WMS/ERP) to reduce waste.
