Jefferson Health is seeking a Supply Chain Dock Operations Director to lead dock operations across the health system, ensuring safe, compliant inbound and outbound freight and optimal throughput. You will partner with clinical, procurement, and distribution teams to standardize processes, set KPIs, and drive improvements across sites.

The role requires extensive healthcare logistics experience, strong leadership, and the ability to implement technology-enabled solutions for contingency planning

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7–10 years of progressive dock/warehousing/transport experience in a complex environment (healthcare preferred).
• 7+ years of people leadership with expertise in dock operations and logistics.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and regulatory compliance for healthcare logistics.
• Experience leading multi-site teams with standardized processes and KPIs.

Responsabilidades

• Direct health system dock operations for inbound receiving and outbound shipping with carrier coordination.
• Develop dock leadership teams; set staffing, training, and performance expectations.
• Define and monitor dock KPIs (on-time arrivals, dwell time, loads, damages) and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and audit readiness.
• Standardize SOPs for receiving, custody, and temperature-controlled handling; manage exceptions.
• Collaborate with procurement, accounts payable, and ERP teams to optimize procure-to-pay.
• Lead continuous improvement and technology initiatives (dock scheduling, scanning, ERP).
